The threat Donald Trump exposes to democracy still exists today. There is still a real possibility that he could come back to power in 2024 and take America further down the line of have an authoritarian country, where democratic laws are further eroded. The part that is hard to understand is that 50% on Americans still think there is some truth behind his false and totally discredited statements. Does this tell you something about the mentality of the people of this country. Are they that mentally retarded that they cant understand the difference between fact or fiction No wonder they are losing friends across the globe. God help America!
